MSRT high-level delegation, including Dr. S. Mohammad M. Hadavi, president of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Nanotechnology (INN), Dr. M. Mottaghitalab, president of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Science and Technology Parks(INSTP), and Dr. H. Mirzaee, president of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network Virtual Universities (CINVU), headed by Dr. Vahid Ahmadi, deputy minister for Research & Technology, have met Dr. Shaukat Hameed Khan, COMSTECH General Coordinator, Prof. M. Qasim Jan, COMSTECH adviser, and Dr. S. T. K. Naim, COMSTECH consultant on Sunday, 29 May 2016.
Both sides emphasized on necessity of more collaboration for developing scientific and technological cooperation between Islamic countries via a new model of cooperation between countries. In this regard, Dr. Ahmadi suggested COMSTECH to establish venture capital Inter-Islamic fund and to support Mustafa Prize to be inserted in the final document and ten-year science and technology program of the Inter-Islamic countries.
Moreover, he implied that Iran is ready to adopt the national reference of technical training and skill in the Muslim world and to provide scholarship to Islamic countries. At the end, it was mentioned that the Islamic Republic of Iran supports three Inter-Islamic networks existing in the country which was confirmed by Dr. Shaukat Hameed Khan.
